Summary

I’m a Computer Science student at Université de Montréal with a background in data science and a strong interest in the intersection of AI, ethics, and business strategy.

I’ve worked as a Data Analyst at TELUS International, where I contributed to improving Apple’s search engine, and I’ve supported over 230 students as a Teaching Assistant. These experiences taught me to connect technical precision with human meaning.

I’m currently participating in the Perplexity Hackathon, where I’m developing Insight & Metrics, a real-time AI-powered dashboard focused on climate reasoning, bias detection, and open knowledge synthesis — using Perplexity’s API to explore how search intelligence can inform civic decision-making.

Biography

I’ve shaped my journey through perseverance, curiosity, and a strong sense of purpose. Life has taught me to navigate complexity — not only in systems, but in the human experience — and that perspective continues to guide everything I do.

My interest in technology has always been inseparable from a broader curiosity about the world. As a teenager, I followed international news closely — not just out of habit, but out of a desire to understand the forces shaping our future. I still remember noticing when Bitcoin quietly crossed the $100 mark, and when Twitter made its stock market debut. Those events weren’t just milestones in tech history; they were signs that something deeper was unfolding — a transformation in how we communicate, exchange value, and build systems.

My passion for technology started early — at 15, I began learning entrepreneurship hands-on: building systems people actually used, managing small communities, and discovering how tech can empower ideas. Many of these interactions took place online, connecting me with people from across the world and broadening my understanding of global digital culture. That same year, I began working professionally, and by 16, I was already a CAD Technologist and Programmer, immersed in structured problem-solving and real-world technical environments. These early experiences grounded me in discipline and autonomy, and they continue to shape how I approach systems and logic today.

As a neurodivergent individual, I bring a unique way of thinking to my work — one that is analytical, reflective, and deeply aware of how technology intersects with people’s lives. My experiences have also given me a deep understanding of mental health, emotional resilience, and the importance of designing systems that are inclusive by nature.

I’ve been honored to receive scholarships such as the Perspective Québec, Léo-Paul Roy, and RGA awards, which reflect both academic achievement and personal perseverance. I speak French, English, and Spanish, and I’m currently learning Portuguese — a reflection of my deep connection to Latin America and my belief in the importance of building technology that resonates across cultures and continents.

Whether through applied research, data analysis, or teaching, I’m driven by the belief that impactful systems begin with clear values — and that responsible innovation requires both critical thinking and human awareness.
